Alma Melanson 1921 - 2005 Alma Melanson, 83, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Cormier Village, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and the late Marianne (née: Boudreau) Thibodeau. Mrs. Melanson is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert of Villa du Repos; two daughters, Roberte (Pierre) Goguen of Notre Dame and Joanne (Brian) Fraser of Lower Coverdale; one son, Jean-Paul of Dieppe; two sisters, Yvonne (Neri) Arsenault of Cap-Pelé and Sara Thibodeau of Shediac; one brother, Emile (Huberte) Thibodeau of Cormier Village; five grandchildren, Mindy, Sara, Chad, Mathieu and Serge; one great grandson, Zacharie as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ola and Alfred. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday, September 1, 2005 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 9 am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from NotreDame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Lakeburn, NB on Friday, September 2, 2005 at 10 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
