Rita Cormier 1920 - 2005 Rita Cormier of Moncton, NB passed away at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Born in Ste. Marie De Kent on March 29, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Marie-Regina (Melanson) Cormier. She was a member of Notre Dame De La Grace Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by daughters, Brenda Cormier, Bernice Drew and Annette Goguen and her companion, George Goguen, all of Moncton; sons, JeanPaul and his wife, Gerene of Moncton, Terence and his wife, Marie-Therese of Dieppe, Omer and his wife, Therese of Irishtown and Maurice and his companion, Blanche of Moncton; sisters, Jeanne LeBlanc, Irene Goguen, Lorraine and her husband, Yvon Bastarache and Aline and her husband, Arthur LeBlanc all of Moncton; brother Christopher Cormier of Moncton; fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Avie Cormier in 1988; sister, Beatrice Desrosiers in 1979; infant sister, Marguerite Cormier in 1918; brothers, Theodore Cormier in 1994, Antoine Cormier in 1986 and Albert Cormier in 1982; also by her grandson, Denis in 2000. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Thursday, September 1, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame De Grace Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 2, 2005 at 11:00am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
