Muriel Agnes Smith 1920 - 2005 Muriel A. Smith, of the Salvation Army Lakeview Manor, Riverview, NB passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Born in Amherst, NS on March 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Osborne and Nellie (Steeves) Scott. She was a member of the Salvation Army. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene and her husband Gordon Chapman of Salisbury, NB; son, Lewis Smith and his wife Gloria of Dartmouth, NS; sister, Mildred Deware of Moncton; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bonar Smith in 1981, sisters, Lorna Johnson, Eileen Jonah, and Dorothy Lewis; also by brothers, Walter, Norman and Gordon. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street on Friday, September 2 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 10:00 am with Major King officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
