Ellen Monkman DORCHESTER , NB - The death of Ellen Monkman, age 55, wife of David Monkman, occurred at her home in Dorchester on Saturday, September 3, 2005. Born in Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Lina (McPhee) Coombs. Ellen was a member of the Dorchester First United Baptist Church and Choir. Ellen will be sadly missed by her husband, David, Dorchester; a son, Michael (Kim Price) Burgeo, NF; and a daughter, Tracey (Ron) Whalen, Vernon River, PEI; one grandson, Sean (born August 18, 2005); sisters, Audrey (Ray) LeBlanc, Bowmanville, ON, Amy Cunningham, Woodstock, NB, Norma (Edgar) Estabrooks and Ruth (Ken) Mitton, both of Sackville; and a brother, Ted Coombs, Dorchester. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the Dorchester First United Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 2 pm. Burial in the Dorchester Cemetery.
