Carol E. Smith SUSSEX, NB - Carol was taken from us on September 3, 2005 at the age of 61 after a short illness. She was born in Albert, NB, the daughter of the late James and Katherine (Nelson) Preston. She leaves to mourn her husband, Jack; and a son, Kirk and friend Carol; and daughter, Nancy and friend Ralph; grandchildren, Erica and friend Andrew, and Josh Fanjoy; a brother, Ed Preston and wife Sandy; nephew, Ed; and niece Christa; her close aunt, Margaret; brother-in-law, Dave and wife Faye Smith; and their sons, Jim and Jeff. She will be dearly missed. Making sure the bird feeders were full. Traveling with the Perfect Circle Motor Home Club. Cooking lunch on a driftwood fire on the beach at St. Martins. Making a fridge in the snow at the woods camp. A little shopping trip across the border. Family dinners with the children. Good times spent with friends. What more could you ask for. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506433-2133) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at St. Paul's United Church, Sussex at 2:00PM. Interment at Kirk Hill Cemetery, Sussex.
