Gerald "Fish" LeBlanc 1950 - 2005 Gerald "Fish" LeBlanc, 55, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, September 9, 2005. Born in Memramcook, he was the son of the late Ola and Arthemise (Breau) LeBlanc. He was employed with Canada Post for 30 years. He also served as Chief Shop Stewart for CUPW, a position he was dedicated to and took seriously to benefit his fellow co-workers. He attended Saint Louis de France Church. Fish was an avid crib player and enjoyed playing pool with his friends, his favorite pastime was playing cards on the Internet. His will be most remembered by his friends for his teasing and his sense of humour. He was a captain with the Canadian Cancer Society Canvessing Campaign. He is survived by wife, Barb LeBlanc; step-children, Shelley Doyle (Brian) of Moncton, NB, Shawn DeYoung (Claire) of Lakeville and Steve DeYoung (Marie) of Dieppe; three grandchildren, Alexander, Danielle and Jordan; four sisters, Rhea LeBlanc (Art) of Shediac, Jeannette LeBlanc of Knowlton, PQ, Gisele Brackney (Don) of Calgary and Diane Cassidy (Wayne) of Dieppe; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Donald in 1994 and a sister, Stella 1958. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz Street, Moncton on Monday, September 12, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and Tuesday, September 13 from 9am to 10:00am. The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Louis de France Church (Lewisville) on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 10:30 am with Fr. Paul Breau officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations in Gerald's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
