Emily Cleland 1916 - 2005 ALDOUANE, NB - Emily Cleland, 89, wife of late John Cleland, of Aldouane, formerly of Richibucto, passed at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne, Sunday, September 18, 2005. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles Donavan and Marie-Louise (Roy) Donavan. Retired, she had been employed with the Motor Vehicle Branch, John O. Cleland Lumber and British Canadian Lumber. She was a member of St. Andrew United Church, Rexton, past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and a former member of the District 11 School Board. Survived by one daughter, Penny Lewis (Graig), Aldouane; one son, Robert, Upper Rexton; three grandchildren, Glenn Lewis (Antoinette), Lani Sock (Jason), Christopher Cleland; four great grandchildren, Karli and Trey Lewis, and Zoey and Emily Sock; one sister, Eunice Cail (Hazen), Riverside Albert; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Monday from 7 to 9pm.
