Muriel B. Fitzpatrick 1924 - 2005 The death of Muriel B. Fitzpatrick occurred suddenly and peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, September 24, 2005. Born March 9, 1924 in Halifax, she was the oldest of three daughters of Gordon and Blanche (Noseworthy) Fader. A loving mother and grandmother, Muriel was a homemaker throughout her life. She is survived by her son, David (Marlene) Fitzpatrick of Charlottetown, PEI; daughter, Paula (David) Balson, of Whitby, ON; son, Gordon (Dawn) Fitzpatrick of Moncton. She is also survived by her much loved grandsons, Paul (Gillian Hickman) Fitzpatrick of Ottawa, ON, Dr. Aaron Fitzpatrick, Saipan, Shawn Fitzpatrick of Moncton, and Justin Fitzpatrick of Halifax; her great granddaughter, Hannah Fitzpatrick; as well as her nephew, Brantz Myers of Toronto. Muriel was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Russell J. Fitzpatrick; as well as her sisters, Constance Kirby and Thelma Myers of Halifax. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visiting hours on Monday, September 26, 2005 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. A Funeral Service conducted by Fr. Kevin Borthwick will take place on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her memory to the Moncton SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
