Mrs. Emma Eleanor Jordeson Shediac 1921 - 2005 The death of Mrs. Emma Eleanor Jordeson Shediac (Mitchell), 84 years, of Autumn Lee Special Care Home, wife of Albert Shediac Sr. of Connolly Street, Moncton occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, September 23, 2005 following a brief illness. Born August 24, 1921 in South Branch, Kent County, she was the daughter of the late William George and Mabel Doherty (Beers) Mitchell. Emma had attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening. In addition to her husband, Albert, she is survived by one daughter, Judith Dunphy (Paul) of Fredericton, three sons Cecil Mitchell (Linda) of Second North River, NB, Albert Shediac Jr (Sheila) of Riverview and Kevin Shediac of Moncton; six grandchildren, Jeffrey and Darlene Mitchell, Aaron Shediac (Jody), Tyler Shediac (Tracy), Tiffany Shediac (Derrick) and Craig Shediac; one great grandson, Dawson Henwood. She is also survived by two brothers, John Mitchell (late Eileen) of Rexton, Edwin Mitchell of Neguac and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, an infant daughter, Darlene, two sisters, Dorothy and Helen as well as five brothers, Harold, Kenneth, Ernest, Alfred and Arthur. Emma is resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street, Moncton with visiting hours on Monday, September 26th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Her funeral service will be held at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 11 am with Rev Jonathan Steeper officiating. A reception will follow in the Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment will be in Zion Presbyterian Cemetery, West Branch.
