Geraldine Skinner Murray White Young FREDERICTON, NB - Geraldine White Young, formerly of Youghall Drive, Bathurst passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton. Gerry was born in Bathurst, NB in 1925, and was the wife of the late Duncan Leach Young. She is survived by her five children, Roger (Suzanne) Young of Rothesay, Caroline (Julian) Walker of Fredericton, David Duncan (Margot) Young of Fredericton, Margaret (Robert) Lockhart of Tillsonburg, Ont., and Hugh (Amanda) Young of Bathurst. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, respectively, Nathalie, Frederick, and Sarah, Matthew, Meg, and David, Kate and Robert, Helen, Michael and Hannah. She was predeceased by her parents, William George White and May Murray White of Bathurst; her two sisters, Ursula Noble of Bathurst and Lynn Connolly of Toronto; and her brother, William White of Bathurst. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was active in the IODE and was a longtime tutor for Laubach Literacy, Bathurst. Resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, with visiting hours on Friday, October 7, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 8 at 2 pm from First United Church, St. Patrick Street, Bathurst with interment at the United Church, St. Anne St. Cemetery.
