Arias Richard ST.-ANTOINE DE KENT, NB - Arias Richard, 86, husband of Léona (Cormier) Richard, of Foyer St-Antoine, St.-Antoine de Kent, NB passed away at the Foyer St-Antoine on Saturday, October 8, 2005 following a lengthy illness. Born in Richibouctou-Village, NB on October 5, 1919, he was the son of the late Johnnie Richard and Elise Richard. He was a Truck Driver and attended St.-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, St.-Antoine de Kent, NB. He was a member of the St.- Antoine Golden Age Club, member of the Lions Club in Bouctouche and fireman for 31 years in St.-Antoine. Besides his wife, Léona Richard, he is survived by two daughters, Francine Frawley (Richard) of Hampton, NB and Fédelice LeBlanc (Léonard) of St.- Antoine; five sons, Gérard (Rose-Eva) of Notre-Dame, Fernand (Marie-Anne), Léo-Paul (Odette), Danny (Lucille) all of St.-Antoine and Marcel (Norma) of Dieppe; two sisters, Irène Robichaud of Moncton and Sylvina LeBlanc (Philippe) of Gardner, MA; one brother, René (Sémida) of Richibouctou- Village; 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one grandchild, Jacques; one great grandchild, Joëlle; four brothers, Eddée, Albert, Emile and Eric; and three sisters, Marguerite, Ida and Lydia. Resting at St.-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, St.-Antoine de Kent, with visitation on Monday, October 10 from 7 to 9pm and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45pm. Funeral Service at St.-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, St.-Antoine de Kent, on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 7:00pm. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society and/or the Foyer St.-Antoine would greatly be appreciated. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
