Bertha Goguen HAUT SAINT-ANTOINE, NB - Bertha Goguen, 81, widow of Leonel Goguen (1984), of Ch Saint-Damien, Haut Saint-Antoine, NB, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2005 at Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Saint-Anne de Kent, NB after a lengthy illness. Born March 31, 1924 in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edmond Léger and Exelda LeBlanc. She was a housewife and attended Saint-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine. She is survived by six daughters, Adrienne Williams (Jean) of Saint-Antoine, Nora Daigle (Paul) of Aldouane, Linda McLachlan (Vic) of Kingston, ON, Louise Shortall (Lenny) of Saint-John, Lorette Allain (Laurie) of Edmonton, Alberta, Joanne Maillet (Louis-Gerard) of Saint-Joseph de Kent; three sons, Fernand (Yvette), Denis, and Guy (Jacqueline) all of Saint-Antoine; one daughter-in-law, Carmella Goguen of Moncton; four sisters, Doris Léger (Lévi), Lorraine Léger (Noel) both of Saint-Antoine, Noella Roy (Paul) of Saint-Marie de Kent, Emerise Girouard (Fernand) of Moncton; four brothers, Freddy (Anna), Yvon (Hermine), Malcolm, Donald (Camilla) all of Leominster, MA; 20 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. Besides her husband, Leonel Goguen, she was predeceased by one son, Roméo (1992); one sister, Aldéa; and two brothers, Eloi and Aurèle. Resting at Saint-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine with visiting hours on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Monday from 9 to 10:45am. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 11:00am from Saint-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine. Interment, Parish Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
