Vera K. Matthews 1917 - 2005 Vera K. Matthews, 88, of Moncton passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, October 29, 2005. Born in Chipman, she was the daughter of the late Mary Bishop. Vera was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of First United Baptist Church and the Evelyn Eaton Missionary Group within the church. She enjoyed caring for people, playing cards, knitting, but first and foremost was her love for her family. Vera will be sadly missed by her son, Howard, Moncton; special daughter-in-law, Roberte Matthews; grandchildren, David Matthews (Louise); Pennfield; Elaine Matthews-Belone (Carl), Moncton, Tara Diamond, Riverview, Darla Melanson (Dave), Riverview, Currie Matthews (Carolyn), Lindsay, ON, Garth Matthews, Moncton; great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Matthew, Cody, Megan, Evan, Isaac, andMichael; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Currie and son, Ronald; sisters, Amber and Lillian; and brother, Jack.
