Vera A. Steeves Vera A. Steeves, 82, of Moncton and formerly of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2005. Born in Pine Glen, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Effie (Crossman) Crossman. Vera was retired from the Salvation Army Eventide Home and Lakeview Manor. She was a member of Highfield St. United Baptist Church, the Cathy MacGorman WMS Group and the Adult Bible Class. Vera will be sadly missed by her son, Michael (Elaine), Moncton; grandchildren, Angela Conrad (Dave), Don McClure (Jessea), and Colin McClure; great grandchildren, Skyler, Isabelle, Samantha and Trinity; brother, Leverett Crossman (Emma), St. Peter's, PE; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Harold B. Steeves (2001); sisters, Dorothy and Frances; brothers, Leslie, Russell and Lorne. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
