Sonia Pauline McKenzie 1942 - 2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - Sonia Pauline McKenzie of Nelson, Miramichi peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at the Miramichi Hospital, November 8, 2005 at the age of 63. She is survived by her husband, Frank, of 42 years; one son, Michael (Donna) of Douglasfield; three daughters, Sonia McKenzie of Nordin, Laurie Silliker (Roger) of Miramichi, Lisa Harris (Eugene) of Miramichi; five grandchildren who will deeply miss their Nanny, Karley and Devon McKenzie, Riley and Ransen Harris and Jacob Silliker; two brothers, Richard (Dickie) Roy (June), Darrell Roy; two sisters, Eleanor Ramsay, Mary (Trinkie) Roy of Miramichi, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Sylvie and Romaine Roy; sister, Barbara Russell; brother, David Roy. The family will receive visitation at Northumberland Funeral Home in Miramichi on Thursday, November 10 from 7 to 9pm and Friday, November 11 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral will be held on November 12 at 11:00am at St. Patrick's Church, Nelson, Miramichi. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Miramichi Hospital or a memorial of ones choice.
