C. Ross Jarvis 1916 - 2005 C. Ross Jarvis 89, of Riverview, surrounded by his family passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, November 14, 2005 following a brief illness. Born in Toronto, ON, he was the only child of the late Charles and Margaret (Shouldice) Jarvis. Ross was retired from the Federal Government with 33 years service. He was a long time member of Central United Church and was former Elder and choir member. A Veteran of the 2nd World War, served overseas with the R.C.A.F. Ross had a great love of music, especially classical piano and organ. He entertained and accompanied extensively during his life. He was a former member of Moncton Curlers Association and Country Meadows Golf and Country Club, also member of the F.S.N.A. Ross enjoyed photography, trailering and he traveled many miles on his Harley Davidson following his return from overseas. Ross will be sadly missed by his wife of over fifty five years, Dawn (Hudson) Jarvis; daughter, Beverly Jarvis, Burlington, ON; sons, Timothy (Muriel), St. Andrews, Jeffrey (Margaret), Dartmouth, NS; his precious grandchildren, Julia, Kathleen, Jonathan, Sammy, Mallory, Jordan and Zoe; special cousin, Betty Nixon (Donnel), Wiarton, ON; sisters-in-law, Alice Milburn, Hillsborough, Joyce Hudson, Hopewell Hill; brother-in-law, Carman Hudson (Pam), Kingston, ON; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by an infant daughter, Carol Margaret (1952). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Wednesday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Central United Church, Thursday, November 17, 2005, 2 pm. Rev. Dr. James MacDonald officiating. Reception in the church hall following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
