Ovila Boudreau 1921-2005 SHEDIAC, NB - Ovila Boudreau, 84, of the Villa Providence and formerly of Ohio Road, Shediac passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence, surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 17, 2005., after a lengthy illness. Born in Ohio du Barachois January 18, 1921, he was the son of the late Venant Boudreau and the late Mélina Thibodeau. He was self employed in the trucking business for 45 years. He was a lobster buyer for E. P. Melanson of Cocagne for 35 years. He was a member of the Boishébert Club in Shediac. Ovila will be greatly missed by his loving wife of sixty-four years, Corinne (Babineau) Boudreau; their children; three daughters, Maria Hébert (Adélard) of Grande-Digue, Jeannine Melanson (Paul) of West Hartford, Conn., Murielle Gallant (Jean-Guy) of Shediac River; three sons, Gérald (Murielle) of Boudreau West, Roger (Léontine) and Francis (Gisèle) all of Ohio Road; daughter-in-law, Patsy Mallet of Moncton; three sisters, Thérèse Léger (Yvon) and Lorraine Gallant (Emery) all of Robichaud, Simonne Lirette (late Eric) of Ohio Road; a brother, Laurie Boudreau (Lorraine) of Shediac; ten grandchildren: five great grandchildren and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Noëlla; one son, Bernard; four sisters, Flora Léger, Marguerite Caissie, Marianne Boudreau, Bertha Cormier and by two brothers, Ovila and Clarence Boudreau. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, November 20, 2005 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Monday, November 21, 2005 from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:50a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2005 at Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Shediac.
