Roy H. MacLeod
Roy H. MacLeod HAVELOCK, NB - Roy Harold MacLeod, 81, of The Jordan Lifecare Center and formerly Havelock passed away Thursday November 17, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital. Born at Kinnear Settlement he was a son of the late Golden and Muriel (Demont) MacLeod. Roy worked as a heavy equipment operator and a farmer. A veteran of World War Two he served with the N.B. Rangers. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Havelock and the Orange Lodge # 135, Wheaton Settlement. Survived by his wife, the former Nora Curtis; his son, Ronald R. Murray (Tammy), Fredericton; their children, Brian MacLeod (Audrey), River Glade, Colleen MacLeod, Belleville On., Janice MacLeod-Beaulieu (Charles), Fredericton; a brother, Douglas (Doris), Harewood; step-sister, Sharon Stevens (Don), On.; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter, Alice Murray; brothers, Herbert, Milton and Vincent. Resting at the Havelock Funeral Parlour, 19 Cross Street (534-2600) with visiting Saturday November 19, 2005, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion, Havelock will conduct a memorial service at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral parlour. The Funeral will be Sunday, November 20, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason McCormick officiating. Interment at the Kinnear Settlement Cemetery.
