Charles Vautour PETIT-CAP, NB - Charles Vautour, 103, of Manoir de la Butte, Cap-Pelé, formerly of Petit-Cap passed away Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born October 4, 1902 in Petit-Cap, he was the son of the late Honoré and Marceline (Gallant) Vautour. A retired firsherman, he played cards, and BINGO at the Shemogue Golden Age Club, where he was a member. He is survived by six daughters, Bernadette Poirier (late Normand), Marceline Duguay (Louis), Madeleine Léger (Guy), Sara Léger (Jean-Marc), Marie Doiron (late Claude) and Jeanne Léger (Guilmond) all of Cap-Pelé area; four sons, Joseph (Yolande) and Léo (Ouida) of Cap-Pelé, André of Nanaimo, BC, Paul (Dana) of Waterloo, ON; three sisters, Émelice Bacon (late Elzéar) of Florida, Dorilla LeBlanc (late Coré) of Edmundston, Élizabeth Gautreau (late Donat) of Moncton; two brothers, Alphonse (late Marie) of Moncton, Mathias (late Elizabeth) of Cap-Pelé; 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Délima (Arsenault); an infant daughter, Marie; a sister, Velma; brothers, Lionel, Hector, and Blair. Resting at funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 9:30 until time of departure (10:35).
