Lorraine Gauvin 1922 - 2005 Lorraine Gauvin, 83, of Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2005 at her residence. Born in Fox Creek, NB, she was the daughter of the late Zacharie and the late Celestina (née: LeBlanc) Gauvin. Mrs. Gauvin was an avid sport enthusiast, she took great pride in the Montréal Canadians hockey team, she enjoyed playing cards and was a parishioner of St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Gauvin is survived by one sister, Elmini Gauvin of Villa du Repos, formerly of Dieppe; two brothers, Edgar (late Eva) of Moncton and Normand (Leoline) of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews, in which she took great pride. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Eddy and Emery; and also by one half-sister, Bella. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, and also on Wednesday from 10am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St.-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 11am. Interment in St.-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
