Alyre Poirier 1923 - 2005 SAINTE-MARIE-DE-KENT, NB - Alyre Poirier, 82, of Saint-Marie-de-Kent, passed away after a lengthy illness at Stella Maris De Kent hospital on Monday, November 21, 2005. Born on August 29, 1923, in McDougall Settlement, he was the son of the late Albert and Euphémie (Lirette) Poirier. He was a member of the Notre-Dame du Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent. Alyre Poirier is survived by one brother, Yvon Poirier (Lina) of Cocagne, NB. He was predeceased by two brothers, Désiré, and Henri. Resting at Notre-Dame du Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte Marie. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, November 23, from 2 to 4 pm, and Wednesday at 6 pm until time of funeral. The funeral service will take place at Notre-Dame du Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent. Interment in Notre Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Cemetery.
