Norbert Yvon Guimond 1931 - 2005 RICHIBUCTO, NB - Norbert Yvon Guimond, husband of Andrea (Cormier) Guimond, passed away at Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Thursday, November 24, 2005 at the age of 74. Born in St. Charles, NB he was the son of the late Arthur and Marie (Arsenault) Guimond. Retired - He had worked at Fundy Linen, Saint John. He attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Knight's of Columbus 3rd Degree. Norbert was survived by his wife Andrea; two sons, Daniel Louis, Leandre Denis (Carolyn); three sisters, Doreen Russell (Late Alley), Calgary, Victoire Daigle (Alcide), Richibucto, Theresa Shewbridge (Herb), Saint John; one brother, Gerard (late Hughette), St. Sauveur, Quebec; four grand children, Stefan, Andre, Justin, and Lucas. He was predeceased by three brothers, Edouard, Luc, and Ted; one sister, Therese Richard. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visititation on Saturday, November 26, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Monday Noon until time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Monday, November 28, 2005 at 2:00 pm Interment will be at St. Charles Borromee Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
