Huberte Brideau SHEDIAC, NB - The death of Huberte "Bertha" Brideau formerly of Saint John and Pokemouche, widow of Joseph Avila Brideau, occurred at Villa Providence, Shediac, on Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Mrs. Brideau was born in St. Norbert, N.B., a daughter of the late Francois and Delina (Cormier) Maillet. She was predeceased by four sisters, Aurore Gagnon, Rita Belliveau, Sara Maillet, and Angele Langis; three brothers, Arthur, Aquila, and Cleophas Maillet; one son-in-law, Camille Brideau; and her beloved grandson, Don Brideau. She will be sadly missed by her children, Jeanne Brideau of Ste. Anne de Kent, Joanne (Stuart Bird) of Costa Rica, Lawrence of Notre Dame de Kent, and Irene Lyle Huestis of Moncton; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., Saint John, with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
