Roger Poirier 1945 - 2005 HAUT-SAINT-ANTOINE, NB - Roger Poirier, 60, of Saint-Damien Rd., Haut-Saint-Antoine suddenly passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Notre-Dame, August 18, 1945, he was the son of Juliette LeBlanc and the late Henry Poirier. Roger is survived by his mother, Juliette (LeBlanc) Poirier of Haut-Saint-Antoine; five sisters, Stella Girouard (Albert) of Saint-Norbert, Yvonne LeBlanc (Gérard) and Marie-Thérèse Boudreau, both of Saint-Antoine, Ida Gallant (Antoine) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Jeannine Carroll (Goose) of Bouctouche; five brothers, Aquila (Raymonde), Gérard (Dorice), Edouard (Maria), Noël (Lois) and Omer (Murielle) all of Saint-Antoine; his former wife, Dorice (Caissie) Poirier; two aunts, Elizabeth Poirier and Carmel Poirier, and also by many nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Henry, he was predeceased by two infant sisters, Ida and Marie-Thérèse, and a nephew Paul. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Kent Ltd., 4572 Main St., Saint-Antoine (525-2855) on Tuesday, December 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, December 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, December 8 from 10 a.m. until time of departure at 10:50 a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Saint-Antoine-l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine.
