At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, of Olive Mae Miodowski, RN (nee Dewar) of New Perth, in her 91st year. Wife of the late Stan Miodowski. Dear mother of John (Ferne), New Perth. Loving grandmother of Kelly (Paul) Haggerty, Sarnia, Ontario, and Paul (Rachelle Cormier), Fredericton, N.B.; and great-grandmother of Katelyn Haggerty. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late John A. and Laura (nee MacPhee) Dewar. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Lincoln (Lois), Robert (Mae), and Dr. George (Jean) Dewar, and by her sister, Irene Dewar. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Interment later in the Brudenell Cemetery. Visitation: Friday 7-9 p.m. only. If so desired, memorials to the Brudenell Cemetery Fund or to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated.
