Jacob (Jake) Breau
Jacob (Jake) Breau 1906 - 2005 BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Jacob (Jake) Breau, 99, husband of Yvonne Allain, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche, and formerly of Bouctouche Bay, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste following a lengthy illness. Born July 24, 1906 in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph Breau and Pélagie LeBlanc. He was a fisherman and attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. He was a member of the Bouctouche Golden Age Club and served in World War II. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Breau of Bouctouche Bay; three daughters, Yvette Maillet (André), Diane Poirier (Normand) both of Bouctouche, and Annette Arsenault (Alvin) of Richibouctou-Village; three sons, Yvon (Odette), David (Diane) and Bertin (Mona) all of Bouctouche Bay; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Alcide (2000); two sisters, Ida and Eva; and two brothers, Edmond and Eric. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Wednesday from 9 to 10:45pm. Funeral Service at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 11:00am. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
