Germaine Frenette Germaine Frenette, 80, wife of the late Alonzo Frenette of Lutz St., Moncton, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2005 at her residence. Born in Shediac, June 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Gallant and the late Éléonore Goguen. She worked at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital for 18 years prior to retiring. Germaine is survived by two daughters, Yvette Légère (Raymond) and Marthe Morang of Moncton; four sons, Jean-Paul, Maurice and Normand (Carole Thériault) all of Bathurst, Alonzo Jr. (Isabelle Girard) of Montréal, QC.; four sisters, Maria Gallant of Shediac, Lucille Chisholm of Lunenburg, N.S., Thérèse Poley of Prince George, B.C., Angela Corbet (Terry) of Halifax, N.S.; six brothers, Paul Gallant (Blanche) of Riverview, Roger Gallant (Rolande) of Dieppe, Raoul Gallant (Ghislaine) of Grand-Barachois, Léonce Gallant (Léa) of Moncton, Roméo Gallant (Patricia) of Windsor, N.S. and Louis Gallant of Shediac; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Alonzo (1970), she was predeceased by one sister, Andréa Breau (2005). At her request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shediac. Donations in her memory to a memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
