Gerald J. Leger SAINT JOHN, NB - The death of Gerald J. Leger of Conifer Crescent, husband of Beatrice M. (Crossman) Leger, occured at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 22, 2005. Born in Moncton, a son of the late Sylvain and Elizabeth (Hebert-Landry) Leger. He had been a painter at the Saint John Regional Hospital until his retirement a number of years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Gerald F. Leger (Elizabeth) of Willow Grove; three daughters, Sandra Arsenault (Frank) of Grand Bay, Maraget Craig (Les) of Saint John and Chris Erb (Rick) of French Village; four brothers, Roderick "Ging" Leger (Florence) of Montreal, Edward Surrett of Moncton, Fred Leger (Ann) of Toronto and Edward Daigle (Alva) of Lakeburn; two sisters, Dolly Cormier of Buctouche and Nelly Leger of Moncton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Jonathan Erb; two brothers, Aurele and Alyre. Funeral service was held Saturday, December 24, 2005. Interment took place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
