Alice May Weldon SUSSEX, NB - Miss Alice May Weldon of 50 Pleasant Ave. Sussex, NB, passed away at her residence on January 4, 2006 at the age of 88. Born in Penobsquis, NB on November 22, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Annie (Morey) Weldon. Alice is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins and predeceased by her sister Kathleen McLeod. She will also be fondly remembered by her care givers and her many friends. She served overseas during WWII with the C.WAC. She was a member of the Sussex United Baptist Church and the WMS. As well as the Penobsquis Seniors and the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). Visitation will be held at the Sussex United Baptist Church on Friday from 2 to 4pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 will hold a tribute on Friday at 4:00pm. The Funeral Service will be from Sussex United Baptist Church on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Pioneer Cemetery in the spring.
