Dorothy I. Beers 1931 - 2006 SUSSEX, NB - Dorothy I. Beers of The Kiwanis Nursing Home in Sussex, and formerly of Harcourt, passed away at The Sussex Health Center on Sunday, January 22, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Born in Emmerson, NB on January 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Hesba (Young) Beers. She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church in Beersville, NB. She is survived by sisters, Gladys Templeton and Marilyn MacDonald both of Riverview; brothers, Gordon of Moncton and Eldred and his wife, Doris, Wickham, NB; sisters-in-law, Delores Beers of Ontario and Theresa Beers of Moncton; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Harry in 1981, Carman in 2002, and Donald in 2004. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview, NB on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Cecil Symes officiating. Interment will be in St. James Presbyterian Church Cemetery in the spring.
