January 10, 1939 - March 5, 2009. It is with great sorrow that the family of the late John H. Lundrigan announce his peaceful passing from the arms of his devoted family into the loving arms of His Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josiah and Cavell Lundrigan and his brother, Clifford Lundrigan of Upper Island Cove. Left with warm and tender memories his life partner Nancy Lundrigan, his four sons Steven (Daniele), Peter (Kelly), Danny (Tracy), and Robbie (Crystal) and his two daughters Cyndi and Nicole (Zoltan Deak); grandchildren Stephen, Justin, Kayla, Samuel, Heather, Daniel, Madolyn, John, Isaac, Daniel, Virginia, Jillian, Robert & Colin, Sophia, Isabella and Robert. Also leaving to mourn are his brother Edwin (Jean) and his four sisters Marjorie (Ken George), Judy (Philip Ryan), Flora (Philip Stone) and Cavell (Randolph Drover). The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Hussey's Funeral Home in Upper Island Cove on Friday and Saturday between the hours of 10 a.m. to 9p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service is to be held at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove, on Sunday March 8 at 2 p.m. with Reverend William Strong and Reverend Arch Young officiating. As an expression of sympathy, flowers will be gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in his memory to the Newfoundland & Labrador Lung Association or the Community Food Sharing Association.
