Mae Brown SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Mae Brown, age 92, of Sackville, formerly of Port Elgin, widow of Fred Brown, occurred at the Drew Nursing Home on Tuesday, January 24, 2006. Born in Mulgrave, NS, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Malakey (Saddie) Kawaja. She was a member of St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, Sackville, and a long time member of the CWL. Mae will be sadly missed by two sons, Gerard (Evelyn) of Marystown, Nfld, and Michael (Karen), of Sackville, NB; a daughter, Irene Chapman of Sackville; a sister, Marguerite (Ann) MacPhee of Dartmouth, NS, and four grandchildren, Cheryl, Christin, Lynnsy and Scott; a sister-in-law, Winnifred Brown, Moncton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Fred; a grandchild, Matthew; son-in-law, Wayne and five sisters, Martha, Rose, Isabelle, Irene and Mary Jane and two brothers, George and John. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (364-1300) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm with funeral mass at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville, on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 3pm.
