Marjorie Lee McCormack 1940-2006 SACKVILLE, N.B. - The death of Marjorie Lee McCormack, age 65, of Sackville, N.B. occurred on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born on July 5, 1940, she was the daughter of Eunice Marjorie (Dixon) McCormack and the late H.W. (Mac) McCormack. Following her graduation from Teachers College in Fredericton, N.B., Marj taught school for two years in Dorchester and then in Digby, N.S. until her retirement. She spent many happy summers at Camp Arcadie in Sandy Cove, N.S., as a camper, councillor and then as an assistant to Mrs. Helen Anthony (Chiefie). Marj then moved back to Sackville eleven years ago to reside with her mother on Charles Street. She will be greatly missed by her mother, Eunice Marjorie McCormack; one aunt, several cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her father, H.W. (Mac) McCormack. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request of the family. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Sackville, on Monday, January 30, 2006 at 2 PM with Father Kevin Stockall officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in the Sackville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Unit, Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or to the charity of ones choice.
