James Hargreaves SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Jim Hargreaves, age 87, of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 29, 2006. Born in Cookville, NB, he was a son of the late John and Ellen (Smith) Hargreaves. Jim was a retired carpenter. A veteran of WW II he served in the Canadian Army in Europe. He was a member of the Sackville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Jim will be sadly missed by his wife the former, Edna Richard, Sackville; three sons, David, Dorchester, James, Owen Sound, ON and Darrell (Mary Knockwood), Shinimicas, NS; three daughters, Donna George, Hamilton, ON, Paulette Hargreaves, Moncton and Sandra (William Hartmann) Hargreaves, Toronto; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mavis Wheaton and Marjorie Kaye, both of Sackville. He was predeceased by brothers, John, Geoffrey, Donald, Joseph; and by a sister, Mary Ann. The remains have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 2 pm, burial in the Holy Rosary/St. Vincent's Cemetery, Sackville in the spring. The Sackville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a memorial service at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
