Frederick R. Leaman DORCHESTER, NB - The death of Fred Leaman, age 84, of Dorchester, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2006. Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Burpee and Mary Jane (Carson) Leaman. A veteran of WW II he served overseas for 5 years with the NB Rangers in England, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany. He was a member of the Dorchester United Baptist Church. Fred will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, the former Elsie Branscombe; three sons, John (Nancy), Dorchester, Neil (Marilyn) and Dean (Beverly), both of Sackville; a brother, Norman, Riverview; seven grandchildren and one great grandson. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville with visitation Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 1:30 pm, Pastor Barry Todd officiating.
