Alfreda (Freda) Arnold 1924 - 2006 The death of Alfreda Arnold, 82 years, widow of the late Morris Arnold, of the Lakeview Manor, Riverview, and formerly of Jones Street, Moncton, occurred at her residence on Saturday, February 25, 2006. Born in Shediac on February 7th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace (Lundrigan) Gayton. Freda had retired from the T. Eaton Co. after many years of service. A member of Central United Church she was also a member of the U.C.W. She is survived by her sisters, Catherine McKay of Dartmouth and Louise Leaman of Riverview; one nephew, Wayne of Hampton; two nieces, Sharron of Dartmouth and Susan of Toronto; as well as several grand nieces and grand nephews. In addition to her husband, Morris and her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Archie Gayton; her sister, Margaret Brown; and a nephew, Malcolm McKay. Resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110), 114 Alma Street, Moncton, visiting hours are Monday, February 27th, 2006 from 1 pm to service time of 2 o'clock. A reception will follow in the Reception Room of Cadman Bowness Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. At the request of the family, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Lakeview Manor would be appreciated.
