Geraldine Gaudet DORCHESTER, NB - The death of Geraldine Gaudet, age 88, of Dorchester, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 25, 2006. Born in Dorchester, she was a daughter of the late William and Leonie (LeBlanc) Gaudet. Geraldine was formerly employed with NB Telephone Co., serving a total of 36 years as operator, 18 of those years, she was Chief Operator in Dorchester. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a member of the St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, Sackville. Geraldine never married and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward and an infant sister, Florence. She will be missed by her many relatives and friends. The remains have been entrusted to the care of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, Sackville on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 11 am, Father Allison Carroll officiating. Burial in the St. Edward's Parish Cemetery, Dorchester in the spring. A funeral vigil will be held at the funeral home Monday evening at 8:30 pm. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
