Emmerson J. Carroll Emmerson J. Carroll, 99, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 5, 2006. Born in Steeves Mountain, he was the son of the late Leonard and Verna (Lutes) Carroll. Emmerson retired from T. Eaton Co. Ltd, with over 40 years service. He was a member of First Moncton United Baptist Church and was a Deacon Emeritus. In 1989 The Board of Baptist Men of Atlantic Canada established the Emmerson Carroll Bursary in his honor for his outstanding leadership among Baptist Men. Emmerson will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years, Pearl (McLeod) Carroll; sisters, Myrtle Buxton, Ortha Matthews, Louetta Steeves, of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Victor, Curtis and Owen. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
