Ronald (King) Steeves BERRY MILLS, NB - Ronald (King) Steeves, 80, of Berry Mills, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family, Friday, March 3, 2006 after a brief illness. Born in Berry Mills, son of the late Vincent and Ruth (Duffy) Steeves. Ronald was a retired storemen with #5 Supply Depot. He attended the Berry Mills United Baptist Church, Veteran of WW II having served overseas in England and Europe with the Canadian Army. Ronald will be sadly missed by his wife of 51 years, Audrey (Horsman); daughter, Valerie McFee (Alan), Berry Mills; grandsons, Aaron, Mitch, Ben; sister, Annie Sherwood, Moncton; brothers, Walter (Pearl), Saint John, Norman (Ruth), Waverley, NS, Ralph, Berry Mills; sister-in-law, Mae Steeves, Berry Mills; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Dewey, Eldon, Harold, and Donald. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road (858-1995), Moncton, Monday, March 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 1:30 pm, Rev. Ronald Sprackin officiating. Reception following the service. Interment in Steeves Mountain Cemetery, Steeves Mountain.
