Neil Howard Collier Neil Howard Collier, 77, of Spencer Memorial Home, formerly of Steeves Mountain, husband of Marjorie (Steeves) Collier, passed away at his residence, Monday, March 13, 2006. Born in Petitcodiac, on March 26, 1928, he was the son of the late Eddie and Alice (Brewster) Collier. He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church and attended Steeves Mountain Baptist Church. In 1950, he went to Mississauga, ON, where he was employed with Texaco Canada. He never forgot his many friends and family from down east who visited and lived with us. After 13 years, he moved to Steeves Mountain where he founded and operated Holiday Motel and Restaurant, and Texaco Service Station. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years; children, Gary of Steeves Mountain, Cynthia Atkinson (Brian); grandchildren, Joshua (Valene), Aaron; great grandchildren, Christian and Bentley all of Petitcodiac. Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant brother, Roswell; stepfather, Elwood Colpitts. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 1:30pm, Rev. R. Thomas officiating. The burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery at a later date.
