John Francis Wortman 1942 - 2006 John F. Wortman of Wellington Avenue, Moncton passed away at The Moncton City Hospital on March 16, 2006 in his 64th year. Born in Moncton, NB on April 16, 1942 he was the son of the late Alton and Norma (Adams) Wortman. He was an employee with Kraft Foods for 31 years followed by employment at the 31 Club prior to his illness. John will be remembered by his family and friends for his shy manner, generous spirit and his love of the family and pets; Felix, Squire and Smokey. He is survived by his sons, Bill, Kevin and Michael of Moncton; grandson, Sean of Moncton; sister, Carol of Toronto; long time friend, Shirley Worth and her daughters, Shelley and Lana as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, March 18, 2006 from 4 to 6 pm at the 31 Club, 231 Millennium Blvd. (382-8398) followed by interment in Pinehill Cemetery in the spring. In John's memory donations to the Moncton SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
