Malcolm (Mac) Kenneth Horgan July 1 , 1947 - March 17, 2006 The death of Malcolm (Mac) Kenneth Horgan occurred unexpectedly on March 17, 2006. Born on July 1, 1947 in Saint John, a son of Cyril and June Horgan. Survived by his daughter, June Madeley; step-sons, Glen Brown and Michael Brown (and their mother, Sharon); granddaughter, Courtney Brown. Also survived by one brother, Tim and six sisters, Sue, Bea, Theresa, Bonnie, Gail and Gloria and several nieces and nephews. Besides his Mother he was predeceased by one brother, Douglas. He will be sadly missed by his long-time friend, Nancy. Employed in the automotive industry for over 30 years in locations across Canada and finally settled in Moncton in 1986. No matter where in Canada he lived Mac was active in his community in a range of activities such as officiating for Hub City Hockey League and counselling in local prisons (several locations across Canada). Mac was a long time friend of Bill W. There will be a get together in remembrance of Mac's contribution to the community of Moncton at his weekly home group meeting on Sunday, March 26th, 2006, 7 to 9pm at The Moncton City Hospital Auditorium. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday, March 24, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, from Brenan's Funeral home Chapel at 10:30 am.
