Bernice M. Holliday Bernice M. Holliday, 92, of Lakeview Manor, Riverview, and formerly of Gunningsville, passed away at her residence, on Saturday, April 1, 2006. Born in Lower Coverdale, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ina (Downing) Steeves. She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church and was a former foster parent. She enjoyed quilting and doing needlework. Bernice will be sadly missed by her daughters, Barbara Yeomans (Ron), Dartmouth, NS, Roberta Holliday, Bejing, China; sons, John (Rosalie), Bethel, Maine, Brian (Linda), Moncton; grandchildren, Lauren, Stephen, Carla; great grandchildren, Emily, Caleb, and Jessie Mae; foster daughter, Betty Anne Eagles (Eric), Lower Sackville, NS; sisters, Lois Hume (Murdock), and Mildred Troutman, both of Riverview; brother, Alden Steeves (Thelma), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jonathan Holliday; sisters, Adelaide, Bernadine, Daphna; brothers, Lawrence and Millard. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Tuesday, 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Parkside Baptist Church, Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at 2pm, Rev. Jim Alley and Rev. Robert Dunlop officiating. Reception following the service. Interment Wilmot Memorial Cemetery, Lower Coverdale.
