Doris Vivian Murray 1922 - 2006 Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Spencer's Memorial Home in Moncton at the age of 83. Born in Calhoun, she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Catherine (Stewart) Atkinson and she is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Doris will be sadly missed by her daughter, Elinor Boone (Roy) of Birch Grove, NS; sons, Donald (Maria) of Riverview and Gregory (Lynn) of Bridgewater, NS; eight grandchildren whom she was so proud of, Jason, Shane, Shea, Tanya, Sarah, Kimberly, Adam and Nadine; two great grandchildren, Allison and Hayden, and a large extended family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert; son, Robert; sisters, Gertrude, Irene, Flossie, Berneice, Lillian and brothers, George, Elmer, Harry, Roy and Norman. Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 7th, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Owen Dawe officiating. Burial to follow at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathies, the family would appreciate donations to any charity.
