Effie May Poirier FREDERICTON, NB - Effie May Poirier, 57, (predeceased by husband Peter Poirier of Moncton) passed away April 5, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Port Elizabeth, Newfoundland, April 8, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice Frampton. She is survived by current husband, Emery Gallen; three daughters, Mary Ellen (Paul), Tammy (Ray) of Moncton and Beatrice (Philip) MacKenzie of Fredericton; one stepson, Charles Cormier and stepdaughter, Elizabeth Gallen of Moncton; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Dolph (Sharon) Frampton of Halifax, Eric (Brenda) Frampton of Shelburne; four sisters, Mary (Curtis) Nickerson of Halifax, Flora (Neil) Currie of Florida, Geraldine (Philson) Osbourne of Shelburne, Marion Lee of Texas, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr., Fredericton North, on Thursday, April 6, 2006 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the First Wesleyan Church, 131 Duncan Lane, Fredericton, NB on Friday, April 7, 2006 at 11am with Reverend Karl Ingersoll officiating. Interment will be held in Dayton Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
