Emery E. Silk
Emery E. Silk PETITCODIAC, NB - Emery Eugene Silk, 84, of Petitcodiac and formerly Havelock passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Coles Island, he was a son of the late Walter and Bessie (Phillips) Silk. Emery attended St. Paul's Anglican Church in Havelock, retired as a supervisor with Canada Cement Lafarge, Havelock and was a former member of the Havelock Lions Club. Survived by a daughter, Audrey Dunstan of Havelock; sons, Randall (Nadine) of Petitcodiac, Richard (Debbie) of Ottawa; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandsons; a brother, Leonard (Sally) of P.E.; sisters, Betty Stevens of Cody's, Norma Hay of Coles Island, Primrose Lewis of Riverview and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, the former Erma Black; a brother, Cardiff and son-in-law, Lynn. Resting at the Havelock Funeral Parlour, 19 Cross St. (534-2600) with visiting Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Bill Morton officiating. Interment at the Havelock Wesleyan Cemetery.
