Julia Irene Steeves SCARBOROUGH, ON - Julia (Julie) (Nee Russell) Steeves, passed away after a brief illness at Scarborough Grace Hospital on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at the age of 81. Julie, former wife of the late Ransford Steeves. Loving mother of Judy Kairetz (Alan), Glenn (Daniele), Douglas (Dale) and predeceased by infant son, Grant. Beloved grandmother of Darleen, Christina, Troy, Sara, Lara and Emily. Great grandmother of 10. Survived by brothers and sisters, Jim, Lewis, Ray, Bert, Frank, Lloyd, Stan, Les, Joy and the late Hilda and Ron. Will be missed by friends and extended family at L'Amoreaux Retirement Centre. Memorial visitation at the PAUL O'CONNER FUNERAL HOME 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (Between Warden and Pharmacy) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Friday. Memorial service on Saturday morning at 11am in St. Paul's Church, L'Amoreaux (3333 Finch Ave. E., Scarborough). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
