Marie Alice (Yvette) Gaudet 1932 - 2006 The death of Marie Alice (Yvette) Gaudet of Inglewood St., Moncton occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, April 14, 2006. Born in Collette, NB, on February 24, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Pitre) Gaudet. Yvette had been employed as a telephone operator with the Westin Hotel in Winnipeg for many years before her retirement several years ago. She is survived by her best friend and caregiver, Leo Thibodeau; her children, Margaret Gionet-Mackie of Saint John; Barbara (Phillip) Martin of Saskatoon; Monica (Doug) Anderson, Roderick (Sandra) Cline and Grant Cline all of Winnipeg. She is also survived by her brothers, Medric of Minto, Gerald of BC, Lionel of Ontario and one sister, Lorraine Lynch of Minto; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Joe and Abel. Cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving visitors at The Minto Funeral Home, King Street, Minto, NB on Friday April 21st from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday April 22nd from 10:00 to 12:00 noon. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Minto on Saturday, April 22nd at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
