Florence Mildred Adsett MCADAM, NB - The death of Florence Mildred (White) Adsett, formerly of Fredericton, wife of the late Eric Adsett, occurred on Friday, May 5, 2006 at the Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, NB. Born on July 9, 1912 in Los Angeles, California, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Mary (Yates) White. Mrs. Adsett was a teacher prior to her marriage in 1948 and was in fellowship at the McLeod Hill Assembly of Christians. She is survived by two sons, John Adsett (Vivian) of Truro, NS and Ernie Adsett (Joanne) of Keswick Ridge, NB; seven grandchildren, Mary Jane Chuang (John) of Ontario, Michael (Lindsey) and Marty (Aleisha) Adsett of Alberta, Connie, Amy, Daniel and Esther Adsett of Keswick Ridge, NB; two great-grandchildren, Eric and Zachary; one sister-in-law, Alta May White of Los Angeles, CA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Clinton. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, May 7, 2006 at 3:30pm with Wade LeBlanc officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB with Steve Tranquilla officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Daniel Adsett, Doug Spidell, Steve Tranquilla, Maurice Richard, Steve Blackmore and Dave McQuinn.
