Phyllis J. Weir COLPITTS SETTLEMENT, NB - Phyllis Jane Weir, 67, of the Grub Road, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Hillsborough, she was a daughter of the late Glendon and Eleanor (Milton) Simpson. A homemaker, Phyllis also was a bookkeeper working alongside her husband in their family business the former Arnold Weir Roofing & Siding. She enjoyed needlework and crafts, family gatherings and took great pride in her children and their families. She will be sadly missed by her husband of over 50 years, Arnold; daughters, Paulet Smith (Earlin), Little River, Lana Manuge, Moncton, Kimberly Weir (Albert Rogers), River Glade, Janice Weir-Kunze (Hart), Sussex, Sunday Campbell (Gary), P.E.I., Bonnie Weir (Kevin MacMillian), Woodstock, Lisa Grace (Michael), Hartland; sons, Ricky (Kathy), Petitcodiac, Jeffrey (Kim), Grub Road; 21 grandchildren; six great grandsons, nieces and nephews. Survived also by a brother, Grant Simpson (Peggy), Hillsborough; sisters, Diane Geldart (Vincent) and Susan Steeves (John) of Edgett's Landing, Glenda Savory, Hillsborough and her mother-in-law, Nellie Weir, Salisbury. Predeceased by sons, Craig and Bruce; brothers Robert and Gordon Simpson. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and from where the Funeral will be held Friday, May 26, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Blyth officiating.
